Dr Vikash is a young dermatologist, venereologist, dermatosurgeon. He is scholar of Ministry of Education, Institute of Medicine and is also trained in medical dermatology, surgical dermatology and LASER from around the world including Seoul National University Hospital. Currently, he is an incharge of department of dermatology of National Medical College. He has received many prestigious national and international awards including prestigious WCD Rising Star in World Congress of Dermatology (Milan), SARAD Resident Award, SCLD- SriLanka, JITTM International Award- Thailand and WSPID Fellowship award, Philippines, Dubai Derma Scholarship- Dubai etc. He has few published researches and articles in national and international journals. He has attended and presented papers in many dermatological workshops, seminars and conferences. 

He is in editorial board in Journal of Society of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists of Nepal (NJDVL), and Medphoenix, an official journal of NMCTH. 

As a certified trainer of many clinical trainings like Primary Trauma Care, Mid-Level Practicum, Severe Acute Malnutrition, HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis which are focused in training health professionals, medical officers, nurses, paramedics, he has served in rural areas of Nepal. He also conducts many free general health camps, specialty camps in different corners of Nepal. During early medical career, he was involved in managing patients of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, leprosy and many tropical diseases. He has conducted various clinical trainings   on training skills (CTS), children, newborn and maternal health, malnutrition, vector borne diseases, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, snake and dog bite, trauma care, hospital waste management. He is also instructor of hundreds of medical students, paramedics, staff nurses, medical doctors and police officers. He has also worked as a lecturer in different health science colleges. As a Nick Simon Institute Consultant, Dr. Paudel organized and coordinated clinically oriented training for the doctors, health assistants and auxiliary health workers which included - primary trauma care (PTC) training, Mid-level-practicum and developed e-algorithm designed for health care workers. He is actively involved in organizing various free health camps in various districts of Nepal.
